Gratitude for Cannabis in 2022

2022 is coming to a close and it has been an exciting year for me and Canna Healing Consulting. Cannabis has changed my life in many ways. Here are my top 5 reasons for gratitude this season:

Graduating with a Master's in Medical Cannabis Science and Therapeutics. The ceremony was in May and I am so thankful for the opportunity to learn about cannabis in the most credible way. My courses challenged me and introduced a new sense of curiosity and passion for alternative therapies.

Making a difference in people's lives. I am so grateful for all the clients who trusted me to guide and educate them on plant medicine. The majority of my clients ranged from age 50 to 93! I am so thrilled to be able to guide people in a meaningful way and help them improve their quality of life. I am truly thankful.

"It’s been a week of fabulous sleep. I can’t even think of one complaint or critique! Life is better looking through a set of well-rested eyes! I honestly can’t thank you enough! "Thank you, thank you, thank you! You may have saved my life! LOL!

"This was the right path for me, I'm glad I looked into it, and I am very happy I decided. take a 100% natural path to pain relief. Shari is knowledgeable, empathetic, and approachable."

"My wife had her 1st round of chemo on Tuesday and did great! She was relaxed and prepared. Shari, I really think your education really made a difference with her and how well she is doing so far. Thank you so much."

Opportunities to educate and advocate. The Dempsey Cancer and Support Center in Maine has been a regular gig and I so enjoy educating cancer patients about using cannabis to help with symptom management and improve quality of life. Many patients have oncologists that are open to cannabis use but they have no idea how to guide their patients. It is so rewarding to provide the information that cancer patients need to use cannabis safely and effectively.

Also, I presented at other events including High Tea, sponsored by the Canna Mom Show and Boston Cannabis Week and have begun providing education for customers in dispensaries. My interview on the Grow Sessions Podcast drops next month!

I also have had conversations with cancer centers, area hospitals and the Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission.

I am thankful for my health. As a two-time cancer survivor with late effects from treatment, I take a real interest in keeping myself healthy, grounded and in good physical shape. Learning about cannabis as an alternative or complementary therapy to address my issues has been eye -opening. The stigma I once felt (as many others still do) began to melt away the more I learned and the better results I achieved. I sleep 8 hours a night (sometimes more) and manage my chronic neck pain (from radiation) without opioids or NSAIDs. My anxiety is managed more pro-actively and I feel a sense of balance I hadn't felt previously. Cannabis is one tool of many in the toolbox and when combined with diet, exercise, stretching, relaxation techniques and good sleep has helped me achieve my current state.

Innovation and some great products.

We are learning every day about the cannabis plant and its therapeutic properties. There are over 100 cannabinoids in addition to other compounds in the plant. That's alot of compounds to choose from! The good news is there are so many potential ways to manage symptoms. Cannabis is not a "one size fits all" in many ways. Everyone has a unique profile and cannabis works differently for each person. That said, we have so many different tools to choose from to achieve maximum benefit.

There are many new products and potency ratios coming out every day. Cannabis drinks such as seltzers are popular especially for those who want to reduce alcohol intake. Some gummies are considered faster acting than the standard edible. . Recently, I tried an oral spray that gives fast relief when symptoms are more acute.

I also was introduced to a hemp product by a colleague that has been shown in a clinical trial to help improve sleep and weight loss. It is a high quality and well-tested product and for the holidays they are offering 50% off if you are interested in trying it.

Use this code Arbor50 at Arbor Hemp.

I wish you a happy holiday season and am always here to help you learn about cannabis. Remember you can schedule a free 15 minute consult to learn more about the services I provide.
